Kisah Miki si Budak Tadika – Mummy Mempermain-Mainkan Miki

Yesterday morning, having came back from from Sabah trip the night before I was tired and I need an extra hour to sleep in. After I dressed Miki for school, I crawled back to bed hardly could keep my eyes open. Half asleep I spoke to Miki asking him not to forget to bring his drinking water to school. He said OK and left. A few minutes later he came back with a glass of water… For me…

I told him thank you I am not thirsty but you have to bring water to drink at school. He said OK Mummy.. and later went to school. Isn’t my baby the sweetest?

At 6 years, Miki is very helpful and will go running if he is asked to go fetch something from the kitchen or even upstairs. He doesn’t mind at all running up and down the stairs to get Rafa’s diaper, the wet wipes, and then diaper again and wet wipes again. I hope Miki will be ringan tulang sampai besar forever.

So in contrary to last year, Miki is totally loving school this time in Qdees Kindergarten. Alhamdulillah sangat senang bangun pagi dan sangat upset kalau bangun pagi langit dah cerah. He totally hates it when he is late for school. And late  by Miki’s standard is 8.45am when school starts at 8.30am. Relax la… Ko tadika je kot… Takyah la semangat jitu sangat kan?

He adores his teacher, Teacher Sheila, his class teacher and also the one who drives him home after school everyday. His favorite day at school is Friday because that’s when he gets to learn science, his favorite subject ever. His best friend at school is a boy named Isaac and favorite girl is Claire Lai. He said Claire Lai always cakap banyak like Mummy…. LOL…

Memang since he was small, he likes cute girls only. My boy got taste aka POYO. Below is him with Nia at her brother’s Ian’s birthday party. She is one of those pretty girls he would hang out with. Kalau budak comot hitam Miki taknak kawan sangat. Tak baik betul. Mak Miki dari dulu sampai sekarang comot dan color mocha. Huhu

Miki loves birthday parties and freebies. He is generous and always share his stuff. Enjoys company and since Rafa is old enough to play with him he no longer  complaints on not having friends to play with. Sometimes he is too kind and shares his stuff unnecessarily. Last raya Azman bought a lot bunga api for him to play with his cousins but he ended up sedekah all his bunga api to all the kids in then kampung.. haishhh…

He is currently very kuat makan and always munching on something. In the kitchen, I must always have stocks of soft buns, cookies, fruits, milk, chocolate milk, soy milk, juices enough to feed 10 kids at all times. Before I leave home for outstation trip, I buy another load of food so that Azman won’t have a hard time babysitting.  I guess he is going through another growth spurt and indeed he is tall and big for his age.

Miki’s application to Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 2, Bandar Kinrara has been approved and I am so relieved. The school in within walking distance to Mama Rose’s house so he won’t be wasting time commuting and minimizing a lot of risk. I am very nervous about him going to Standard One. A lot of things are going on in mind and one of them is Prelim exam.

Now Miki is good at Maths and reading but his English is better than Bahasa Melayu. Sometimes Miki can be really funny. The other day, his German uncle, Abdullah asked him what is “house”in Malay and he answered “home”! LOL that’s still English.

And once he asked me “Mummy, tiger cakap English apa?” Oiii… tiger tu English la, Melayu dia harimau…

Miki was chosen to be one of the models for a fashion show during his final year concert. He was complaining to me saying it is unfair cause only a few in his class have to do it and why him?! I told him that means he is the most handsome one, kalau tak handsome takkan boleh jadi model. He was still upset so I promised him a new M&M dispenser that he had been asking for from the airport when I came back from my trip.

Azman teased him one day, saying what if Mummy didn’t buy the dispenser. Miki stood up tall and said “Tapi Mummy dah janji nak beli dispenser kalau Miki nak join fashion show. Kalau Mummy tak beli, maksudnya Mummy MEMPERMAIN-MAINKAN Miki!”
wahhh kelas bahasa Melayu. Dah la cakap dengan gaya Nasir Bilal Khan campur Jalaludin Hassan. Hahahahah!

And yesterday when asked how was his day at school. Miki said that he had a talk with the other “models”.

Miki – “Friends Miki semua tak suka buat fashion show, tapi Mummy diorang semua macam Mummy, suka sangat fashion show.”
Daddy – “Habis tu, Daddy diorang macam mana? Suka tak?”
Miki – “Daddy diorang tu biasalah… Ikut je Mummy suka apa….

Hahaha! OMG… korang budak tadika discuss benda-benda camni ke? Entah-entah budak-budak ni kat belakang parents cerdik and matang cuma kat depan parents saje je buat-buat cute kot! LOL

Aduhai Miki, Mummy bukan suka fashion show aja, sports, debate, music semua Mummy suka… I hope you grow up to be wise and be an all rounder. It is a tough world out there, Miki… But Insya Allah you will be all right.
