Have I ever written about one of the most amazing experience that I had throughout #MikiRafaCaliforniaTrip2014 which was pure sensory?! Must thank Allah the AlMighty for letting me smell, yes, smell, the heavenly scent of California in spring.
I have met so many people that have been to California and read about travels in California too but I don’t recall anyone relating to this before. Azman did tell me after one of his visits to San Diego that the air smells nice over there but being a man I guess he was not very good at describing how it was exactly.
Ladies and gentlemen, some of the streets of San Diego and Las Vegas that we went to smelled oh so wonderful… Imagine walking down the streets scented with the perfume Pleasure Intense by Estee Lauder. I love it so much…
Our evening at Vegas was spent sight seeing, when we walked along Las Vegas Boulevard, at one point I was turning around wondering why so many people wearing Pleasure Intense, one of my favorite perfume.
Only later I realized that it wasn’t anybody’s perfume at all but the work of Mother Nature. These pretty jasmine-like little flowers were the source of my sensory delight. Wangi sangat! Masya Allah!

This picture was taken at the pool garden area of Hard Rock Hotel. Maybe because I am a girl, maybe I am romantic and I love nature… That 30 minutes we spent at the garden was so very nice to me. Alhamdulillah for the experience.
The sun was bright but the wind was blowing. Very cool and very refreshing… They planted these fragrant white jasmine everywhere and at every wind blow the perfume hit me with a wonderful feeling. I so very much wish to have this plant grown at home..
Nothing much we did at the garden but chase after Rafa and soaking up the sun… it was too good I didn’t realized how brown I was becoming.
The landscape was beautiful.The light blue pool water matched the sky, too bad it was too cold for us to swim. The swaying palm trees and the unique desert plants just made everything looked perfect.
See how cute is Rafa behind us. Rafa wouldn’t remember a thing of the fragrant flowers, the perfect weather, the adventures we had along the way so I hope someday if he reads this blog he would some how appreciate the whole thing.
Please pardon my sneakers that didn’t really match the outfit… it was too darn comfortable for all the walking. Hehe! Something about my OOTD – was wearing my super comfortable black skinnies by Zara, a RM10 sleeveless top bought at IOI Mall, the black leather jacket was a gift Azman bought for me in Shanghai, the hi-cut sneakers by Atmosphere bought last year in Berlin. I was holding my Xperia Z Ultra that I later lost in San Diego and my bag was a Retiro GM. I love the bag so much coz it fits just about anything from Ipad to Macbook Air to camera plus Rafa’s hot water flask and his other baby stuff. ahaha!
Three pictures above were taken at our suite. Come to think about, why I need a nice bag to accessorize when these three guys compliment me more than all the Channels and Pradas in the world? Haha!
