Hi everyone! Korang perasan tak newspapers and TV on 1 September every year will feature new born babies? Hahaha! Well, in case you guys really haven’t noticed, media will highlight these special babies that was born on the day before that – 31 August or MERDEKA DAY lah! In fact, recently, we have also started to celebrate 16 September as Malaysia Day and special babies born that day will be highlighted. So macam tak pasal-pasal je muka ibu-ibu baru bersalin pucat lesi dengan baby new born mereka masuk paper kan? LOL!
I think it is pretty cool to be born on a special date that the whole nation celebrates every year. One thing for sure, their birthday will always fall on a public holiday so senang sikit nak buat party ke apa! Haha..
But honestly, it is not all about party but we should reflect and celebrate the winning history behind our Merdeka and Malaysia day. 🙂
Anyway, do you know any babies who was born on 31 August or 16 September 2011-2013? I know one… My friend from work, Aznal has a baby girl born on Merdeka day this year. I need to give him a call later, because I want his baby to join this contest:-
How to join Fisher-Price® Rainforest Friends contest:
Open to babies born on 31 August and 16 September since 2011, the contest will run for one (1) month, from 2 September 2013 to 30 September 2013 with various Pantai and Gleneagles private hospitals across the nation.
Three (3) lucky winners will have the opportunity to take home a set of Fisher-Price® Rainforest Friends worth
RM1, 440.00 each.
To be in the running, participants would need to answer the two (2) simple questions below:
1. In conjunction with Merdeka and Malaysia day, we Malaysians are proud of many things; among them are our gorgeous rainforests. Name the oldest Rainforest in Malaysia.
2. Name the brand new signature range by Fisher-Price®.
Participants can submit their entries to fisher-price.malaysia@mattel.com along with a scanned copy of their baby’s birth certificate/ ID, and baby’s photo.
