A couple of months ago, Rafa produced his first artistic “masterpiece”, a complicated Egyptian scripture like drawing on this strip of wall between the staircase and the door to the store room. At that time, he could barely walk. But once Miki left his crayons scattered on the floor, Rafa seized the opportunity, grabbed one and proceeded to the nearest wall to express his creativity.

And yesterday, having improved a whole lot in his walking skills, walked to strip of wall again. He saw his drawings and with utter pride he pointed at it and said, “Ahh… Pandai!!” and he clapped his hands because he is so pandai conteng dinding maa…
Ehhh geramnya aku!
Rafa is 14 months old now and weight 10.5kilos. When he is sleepy he like to blink his eyes again and again. Maybe he wants to blink the sleepiness away but it really seemed like he was trying to make his huge eyes smaller. Haha! Last raya, Azman’s Japanese colleague was holding him when he did the blinking eyes while looking at him. And the poor old Jap thought Rafa was mocking his mata sepet! hahahaha
He has this habit of shrieking on top of his lungs, in notes that can hit the ceiling. Like seriously, he can scream on of these days and break glasses or windows. Super nyaring… haisshh ikut sapa lah!
But one thing about Rafa, although he looks almost exactly like me… nobody ever! so far, thinks that he is a girl. Totally contrary to Abang Miki, he has been called a girl since he was a baby until he is about 5 years old. hehe..
Taking care of a baby who recently learned how to walk and very much enjoying his mobility is not very easy. Rafa maybe is getting chubbier but not me… It sure burns a lot of calories chasing after him. Plus Miki… so sometimes when he suddenly falls asleep, like this. We just have to celebrate and take his pictures yay!

Rafa fell asleep on his favourite chair, the Fisher-Price’s Healthy Care™ Deluxe Booster Seat. I got this seat for him since he was still inside my tummy. He has been sitting on it since he started eating solid at 6 months and until now, this seat is so bagus oh my Alhamdulillah it sure ease my pain of making him sit still and eat!!
Or just sit still and don’t tear down the roof! Or just sit still and let Mummy poop! What you think Moms don’t poop too??
Well I tried leaving him in the play pen but he would just scream his head off I was scared the neighbours will start dialing TELE-DERA pulak.. Luckily this Booster Seat, although super simple in design, manage to hold him down. Hold him so comfortably even, he can fall asleep in it. hehe..
