I cannot believe it! A day after I vented out my worries about Rafa not walking in the blog.. he took ten steps right away, adorably one after another. It is almost like reads the blog, saw Mummy is restless and decided to give her a break- and walk!
Haha! Mummy is so proud of you Rafa. Tak sia-sia we got you the Stride to Ride Lion by Fisher Price to practice.. When we saw him doing that, I quickly grab my camera and get my sidekick Azman to actually record it on video. We managed to get three short clips that I have combined in one video below.
The first short got Rafa walking almost sideways macam ketam. Lawak! he was actually walking towards me but ended up at the couch. Hehe! The second clip caught a little bit improvement, where by he managed to walk straight towards me but fell after 6 or 7 steps. And the last clip is probably the best and most improved. Rafa managed to walked his way towards me without falling at all! Yay! At the end he was just diving head first onto my belly.. hehe..
This home video is probably so short and almost meaningless to many. But to Azman and I (and maybe Miki) this video is a treasure. Just like Miki’s first steps video here that always made us smile with glee every time we see it.
Motherhood is crazy! yesterday I was nervous about Rafa not walking and today I realized that he is just 13 months old why the hell was I nervous? Now that he has started walking, I see him in my head walking to kindy, walking to school, walking to college, walking with his girlfriend…
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………………. *faints*
Take your time baby, Mummy can still carry you around, if you wanna manja-manja around and crawl around, I will always be here to pick you up anytime you want me too!
