Rafa’s First Strawberry Picking Trip in Cameron Highlands

Sometimes I feel sorry for my lil baby booboo Rafa…I feel like he has not been to as many places as his big brother has been when he was his age. If I am not mistaken, Miki has taken his first aeroplane ride to Langkawi when he was about Rafa’s age kot… Sedangkan Rafa paling jauh pergi pun balik kampong to Penang and Kedah jer. Alahai!

But come to think about it, what is there to feel sorry when from age 0-5 years, kids can really have short term memory lost! A couple of weeks ago we went to Cameron Highlands to take the kids strawberry picking. It was Miki’s second or third time actually and he has enjoyed his earlier trips very much, that’s the main reason we came back again this time. But to our surprise Miki was asking questions like “How do we pick the strawberry?” “Do we eat it straight away?” “Do we use a knife?”

Azman and I was flabbergasted! BUKAN KO ENJOY SAKAN KE KUTIP STRAWBERRY HARITU MIKI? APASAL SEKARANG KO HILANG INGATAN?? Arghhhh!

I guess the sweet memories of seeing you have a lovely day at the farm was for Mummy and Daddy to cherish ourselves. Never mind, seeing our kids happy (although lepas tu dia bantai lupa terus) is the best thing parents can have. 🙂

We went to KOK LIM Strawberry Farm in Brinchang. Initially we wanted to visit The Big Red Strawberry Farm but there was way too many people, we couldn’t even park our car. It was our first time at Kok Lim and although it was bigger with more real farming feel to it… but with Miki that’s so picky about muddy tracks, it was not as best experience as it was in the other farm.

My lil cutie berry Rafa baby… He was comfortable in that warm lion suit and snug hanging from Daddy’s chair. Quietly he snatched a few berries while we walked along the farm aisle. Sedar -sedar dah merah tangan dia picit strawberry tu! haha

Below was his sweet berrylicious smile when we earlier stopped at tea plantation for a steaming hot mug of teh tarik. Yummm!

Macam Agent OSO kan? Hahahaha… gomoi kang!

Miki ni silau sikit komplen… kaki sejuk sikit komplen… tangan kotor sikit komplen.. eeiii aku pangggg karang! Camana nak pergi menoreh ni? eh!?

Miki happy tapi kuat complain… Sabar jelah!

Alahai Rafa… He is such a good boy. Nanti Mummy & Daddy bawak Rafa jalan-jalan tengok dunia lagi ye! Muahhh…
