Good morning!
Today I am officially a housewife. Or a full-time blogger… you name it! Haha! Well as a homemaker, I just have to have an edible garden don’t I?
Here is a small section in my garden where Azman organized some herbs and vegetables on our rabbit’s outgrown cage. I think it looks so greeny glorious. Look closely, you’ll see spinach (bayam), kangkung (but recently harvested so very puny), cili padi, mint (pudina), basil, lemon grass (serai), rosemary and in the white pot is baby dill plants.
Those dill were grown from seeds taken from the remaining of an adult plant we use to have. It succumbed to the buck teeth of escaped rabbits but Azman managed to salvage some seeds and grow them. haha…
In fact can you see Itam the Bunny at the background looking at the camera? Cute he is but very nasty kalau terlepas habis semua plants.
My kunyit, halia, bunga kantan (yet to bloom), daun kari etc etc are planted on the ground. I am very passionate about my garden, plants and flowers… Urban Gardener la konon… haha…

Canteknya! I love it! Semuanya berkembang cantik.. I baru je berkecimpung dlm gardening ni bolehlah mintak tunjuk ajar u.. sekali sekala share la camana u jaga all ur plants especially cili padi. Mine dah yang ke 4 dah ni n macam aura2 nak mati jugak lagi 🙁
Kam… cantik kan?? But used to be better… Nampak tak pokok basil tu senget and menguning? senget tu sebab angin kuat! kesian dia. kuning sbb last week panas giler…
Cili padi? try tukar pasu lain untuk bagi dia more space.. taruk tanah well-drained and dead head cili yg dah masak..

Apa yang I tanam, mati. Even the simplest pokok kari. Adoi la.. Memang kena berguru dengan you la. 🙂
oo..sudah jadi housewife sepenuh masa ye..si arnab tompok hitam tu agak kacaklah!Dah ada kebun sayur kira dah cantik lah tu.Tak yah beli kat pasar lagi.Tapi try pulak tanam pokok getah 2,3 batang.Hg susu getah tgh mahal jugak ni.:)

rajinyeeeee.. ade gak niat nak buat gardening as hobby, errr tp tak kesampaian lagi hajat, tak tahu lah bile. kot nye mati lah pulak tanaman tuy sume nnt kan
bole tak tak tao pon daun basil bole tanam kat sini..ahaha akak kalau duk rumah yani mesti suke sebab laman sangat besar..tp sorry ah yani xberminat nak tanam sume ni…mane nk korek mood tanam pokok tu?arghh!!

camana nk develop passion gardening nih? laman spacious tapiiii takde minatlah.. jeles je tgk org gardening tambahan pulak herbs n pokok yang guna untuk memasak.. hehe walaupun saya x masak kat umah.. tapii nk juge ada pokok cantik mcm tu.. 🙁

why dont go to the nursery and buy a pot of young basil… or rosemary… or any herbs that you like.. these herbs are easier to grow compared to flower plants.
Just bring it back and water it daily… soon you’ll realize that the plant has grown bigger than it was when you bought it…
You’d feel very happy because it grew after YOU cared for it! You will feel very satisfied and soon you would wanna grow more! 🙂
I started with a small pot of rosemary in July 10… now I have huge garden of edibles and flowers… come to my house, i take you on a tour…
yani… boleh je… actually tanaman herba2 ni senang aaa nak idup berbanding pokok bunga… 🙂

I jumpe ur blog when looking for reasons why rosemary i mcm nak mati when everyone else in malaysia bahagia tanam rosemary. Anyway, i nak mintak some tips, how did you jaga your rosemary ye? Water daily ke? Baja apa u pakai? And exposure to sun pulak mcm mana? I letak under shades takut matahari dkt malaysia ni garang sangat. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

thanks for reading this blog. i keep the rosemary under 80% sunlight, siram daily, baja organic.. 🙂 sure hidup punya sbb sangat senang tanam rosemary, in fact I dah biakkan lagi 2-3 pokok.. good luck!
Tahniah. Garden you sangat pesonakan. Baja organic boleh ak gunakan baja ayam untuk pokok kesum, pudina, rosemary, thymes?
