Siri Bercakap Dengan Miki – Runnaway Foursquare

I scolded Miki again just now because he was being naughty and disobedient. Sulking, he turned to his Daddy and told him what happened. In between sobs, he said;

“Daddy marah Miki! Mummy marah Miki! Semua marah Miki… Kang Miki keluar rumah pastu Miki pergi tempat lain…”

When asked where “the other place” is, he only said “Nanti Miki keluar, Miki naik car… Miki pergi tempat lain…”

I am sure “tempat lain” is very far. He needed to drive a car! How swell… My three years old threatened to run away…
Not cute Miki… Not cute…

Our little boy is constantly listening to our conversation and when we least expect it, he would “menyampuk” to our grown-up conversations.

Lately Azman and I liked to compete in having the most Foursquare Mayorships. He even laughed at me on a couple of times, when he successfully stole my hard-earned Mayorship. Little did we know Miki has his ears perked up and absorbing all we said like sponge.

Now, whenever he is crossed with me, he could say very mockingly “Tapi Mummy tu tak Mayor!”
When he saw his Dad pulled out his phone from a pocket he would ask “Daddy nak check in (Foursquare) ke?”
To gain his Daddy’s approval over mine, he’d say… “Daddy Mayor kan? Mummy tak Mayor…. Hahaha!”

Once when we were outside, I told Miki I left the phone at home so that he couldn’t play with it. Instead of telling me how disappointed he is for not being able to play Cut The Rope, Miki acted surprised and said;

“Habis tu, camana Mummy nak check in? Nanti Mummy tak Mayor camana?” sambil buat muka surprised kaw-kaw nyerrr… Tampor kang!

Indeed nowadays Miki is very much obsessed with all the gaming applications on top having this super high imagination.

Sometimes we tell him that if his meal is unfinished, won’t buy him candy ever. Simple as that. Miki practically used the same modus operandi, only his threats are much crazier. Like the latest threaten –

“ Kalau Daddy tak nak main dengan Miki nanti Miki ambik Daddy buang kat tong sampah. Pastu crocodile tu ambik Daddy, dia gigit Daddy nyom nyom nyommmm (sambil buat aksi), pastu Miki ambik Iphone Daddy; MIKI MAIN GAME!! HAHHHAHAH HAHAHAHAHA (sambil gelak evil)”

Panjang giler kan ugutan tu? Dahla sebenarnya putar belit nak amik phone.
Sighh… Three years Miki… Only three years…

May God give me the patience, strengthen my mind and bones untuk membesarkan budak kenit banyak akal ini! Amin!
