TM Point yang bodoh

It is 11.30 at night and I am browsing the internet happily using Maxis Broadband. All these while we have been loyal user of Streamyx until Tuesday when we have decided that we can no longer put up with the stupidity and lack of neuron nerve cells in the brain of these TM staff. TM Point Puchong to be exact.

You see, about 4 weeks ago when we moved to the new house, Azman has gone to the branch and requested for the phone service to be changed in address. The torture of waiting for his turn at the TM Point doesn’t need my exquisite elaboration I believe. They however, put his request into process and guarantee that phone and internet services will be ready at our new residence in two weeks, MAXIMUM.

Fine! I do not know if 2 weeks is as stated in their KPI but I guess all we need to do is wait. Although a fortnight to me is a mighty long time considering we only move from Jalan XX, Bandar Kinrara to Jalan YY, Bandar Kinrara not Jalan XX, Bandar Kinrara to Jalan YY, Zimbabwe.

And of course if they have kept their words I wouldn’t be writing this… third week come without a inch of network cable being installed at the Chateau. Makcik sudah marah! Jualan t-shirt ManUtd akan terganggu!

Everyday Azman would call to follow up on the status and their feedbacks was getting more and more ridiculous from one time to another. One day they say that their outsourced contractor hasn’t reply their email, or didn’t pick up their call and on the last day, the TM officer gave us the contractor’s number for us to call ourselves! Kalau Dato’ Zamzam dengar ni agak-agak dia nak kata apa?

So it is final and we decided to put our long term relationship with Streamyx into Talak 4. Farewell! In order to terminate the service we had to go to TM Point again. This time I had come together with Azman. There were 7 counters in that service center and only 4 was occupied with TM Point staff. That is INCLUDING Counter no 4 that has got a SECURITY GUARD sitting behind it!! A SECURITY GUARD!!!

We took a ticket and the number was just ten customers away from our turn. Only ten! If it was the post office, ten people with different errands can be settled in mere 15 minutes. But I nope, it took longer at TM POINT , because I don’t know… It is the era of the INTERNET and they provide HIGH SPEED BROADBAND and yet we had to fill in 2 forms with the same attributes ON PAPER!

We waited for 70 minutes!! That’s more than one hour!!

And when it was our turn to TERMINATE our service, the officer had to key-in God knows what information into what seemed to me more than one type of system. The whole processed required us to sit at the counter for slightly over 10 minutes!! We only wanted to stop the service, I wonder how long does it take if we wanted to sign up as first time user, I bet she would need to take an hour to key in tahapa-apa nama nenek atuk arnab semua key in kottt!!

The officer behind the counter despite taking ten minutes didn’t even bother asking what’s wrong and why did we want to stop dealing with them. Well I told her and her reply was.. “Yes… memang slow!”

TM Points are very nicely designed. They have nice benches to sit during our long wait and all. And they also have these little round table with chairs as well. But we can’t sit there for it was labeled “For Business Customers Only”. The Customer Service manager sits at the table at one point, with her arms crossed and staring into space. I seriously thought she could make herself useful and open a closed counter to serve more clients. But then again, I don’t know who is classified as business customers. Aren’t we a business customer? If we aren’t then what are we? Main-main customer kot.

So that’s my story about our divorce talak 4 with TM. Bye bye TM! Bangang giler staff2 ko tu!

  1. masa aku nak bukak akaun dulu pun sampai muntah darah. Ada satu masa tu aku g tm point. lps minah tu key-in entah apa2, dia pusingkan monitor ke arah aku, lps dia tanya “ada error message keluar. apa maksud error ni?” dia nak suruh aku debug ke apa? mana la aku tau. bongok betul.

  2. mengalami perasaan yg sama macam u, D! nama je internet jalur lebar, menghubung dunia luar segala bagai. tapi bila nak terminate ko kena menapak ke TM POINT tu. apa kes dengan kemudahan internet jalur lebar kalau kita nak buat manual. pastu hold kita lelama kat kedai dia… just to show yg kedai dia sangat cantik! i belum jatuh talak lagi dengan streamyx sebab masa kawen sign kontrak 2 tahun… kang i kena bayar edah dia pulak… i guna setahun tak sampai.

  3. oh kalau tak salah, my hubs faced the same prob when we first nak install streamyx. i dengar2 dia slalu call tm tanya bila nak install and dengar dia ngomel2 dorang tak datang. but once pakai mmg best la no prob unlike broadband my place bad connection skit. but yeah tm agak lembab.

  4. i kena same thing la. pergi TM point nk relocate line to new address, dia cakap min 1mo bcos new infrastructure required. pastu after 1mon call, dia kata bcos of low demand for line at the new place, have to wait 2-3 months. pastu bengang punya case, i pegi terminate line kat same branch…katanya hujung bulan dpt last bill. sekali tengok sama jer bila…takde mention termination pun…siap ng reminder lg…tu sapa nak byr tu??? 3 bulan tp takde service…haprakssss!!!!

  5. As for me, nak ganti faulty modem took 3 f****** weeks. Tu pun hari-hari call tanye. Reason dia sangat best: Takde stok! Can you imagine? Gile bangang diorg ni. Until one day I decided to e-mail the bosses. Ta-dah! Less than 24 hours I got a new modem. Boooo TM!

  6. haii.. i suka post ni. i pun pernah kene dgn tm point. nak install streamyx amik masa 2 3 bulan. dorang buat kerja sgt lembab. last2 i terminate je

  7. here’s an idea for you. go to mcmc (skmm) website and file a complaint there. over there they will take your complaints seriously. give it a try and find out for yourself.

Saya (bukan nama sebenar) bekerja dengan TM. aahahahha. tapi I pun TAK PERNAH happy with their service. streamyx selalu kaput, and there was one time, i tak dapat streamyx sebulan tapi derang tetap suruh bayar bil. kepala hotak depa lah. terus i bertukar menjadi raksaksa hijau. dah la i bayar bil harga kastemer, bukan harga staff. bengang nak mampuih

    after another month full of maki hamun dan kata2 nista kepada TM, baru i dapat balik streamyx tuh. tapi everytime i call them, or pegi tm point, ada 1001 alasan derang. kabel bawah tanah putus lah, gempa bumi kat negara mana tah, itu lah ini lah, and yes, derang suruh kol sendiri contractor tu at the end. mmg kurang ajo betul.

    last2 i pegi kat tm point, “you nak buat cepat? or you nak i email dato’ zam straight and lodge my complaint? and detail out dengan tm point mana i deal, dengan siapa i cakap dekat call centre and all?” siap sebut email dato zam and his line semua, konon2 dah get ready nak report. keji, pekerja TM meng-ugut pekerja TM sendiri, tapi i bayar billll dohhhh

    being staff tm sendiri pun i tak pernah sabar dengan TM, so apa tah lagi you. tapi maxis kat area rumah ni cam tak memberangsangkan jugak, tapi i kena redha dulu dengan streamyx. at least sampai kontrak bodoh ni habes. huhuhuhu.

  13. Hi! all, to me semua macam o.k je. Sebab dah lama I jadi customer TM tak ada pun facing any problem pun kat TMpoint. Dia org o.k je. Sekali-sekala tu adalah i cuba nak guna other svc provider, tapi nampaknya coverage tak memuaskan. So i prefer streamyx is the best.
    Kita tak boleh nak salahkan org sebarangan. Nobody is perfect. Kesian kat dia org. Bayangkan kalau duduk kat customer svc macam dia orang, nak layan macam-macam karenah org. Sebab i pun keja kat customer svc. Memang menguji kesabaran betul.

  14. I do agree with Langor, I went many time to tmpoint but no problem. I apply line and streamyx all at tmpoint….ok. They are just service,….back end job others do. Kalau ke post office 15 minit for 10 people but bukn nak apply kan…..kalau ke bank pun apply loan tak de lah 5 minitkan, mesti kena check ic , etc…takut tipu kan sekarang ramai yg suka tipu, pakai tapi tak byr.
    As for Shila..konon pekerja TM, but still condemn the company that pay the salary every single month+ bonus, nasi di makan pun TM beri….?????
    If I am Dato Zam (say Shila Ceo), I think shila will get fired and not the Tmpoint.
    Kalau dah kerja kat TM, Shila shud know the co’s flow…..
    But I still agree with Langor, streamyx is what I aand my family use daily esp. my kids for studies. Nak guna Celcom broadb, kdg2 ada, kdg2 tak pat walaupun kat rmh. Pernah guna kat hotel, lagi hampe. Pernah baru2 ni guna Maxis, tak sampe 1 minggu (idea kwn)…sslow mcm turtle……
    Kesian saya dgn org tmpoint, setitik nila saja, tapi yg kutuk tu duduk lah situ dan jumpa customer mcm yg kutuk, apa rasa nya?????

    aku kt opis ni guna streamyx jugak. kalau skali down mmg azab gler nk tunggu elok. boss aku pon face the same problem cam ko d..apply 6 bulan lepas smpai sekarang belom pasang. tiap kali tnya derang kata takda coverage ke line gitu la. boss aku hangat ati jdnye sbb neighbour sebelah elok je guna streamyx. my boss dok kota kemuning. can u imagine org tunggu 6 bulan?

    and then member aku baru pindah ke tmn bukit permata kt sri gombak pn kene yg sama. pon kata takde line gak sdgkan jiran sblah best je guna streamyx. member aku apply dari sebelom beranak sampai sekarang dah nak abis pantang pon.

    haa tu yg x paham awat jd lagu tu kan? pd yg marah2 tu, aku rasa diyana bukan memfitnah tp dier menyuarakan rasa tak puas hati as a customer. aku bukan backing diyana sbb aku kenal dier tau..aku ni pembaca belog diyana yg setia je (setia ke heheh ;p) To TM or TM staff yg membaca, take this as aduan rakyat & try voice out pd pihak atasan korang supaya in future servis leh diimprove kan (keluor dah malay-english spelling aku!) jgn gaduh2 yer 😉

  26. sal. rasanya masalah bos & member awak tu bukan sebab tak ada coverage tapi port untuk pasang streamyx full. mcm yg pernah saya kena utk pasang streamyx di area rumah sy di gombak. sebelum register tak ada pula orang TM Point MENARA TM bagitau saya yang port streamyx full di kawasan saya. so saya register la siap sambung balik line telefon di rumah. bayar duit kontraktor lagi. after a few week, saya call customer care tanya kenapa streamyx saya tak ada apa2 berita lagi. katanya ini masalah teknikal. dorang akan solve masalah ini secepat mungkin dan akan call saya balik dlm masa 2 3 hari. selepas hari keempat tak ada apa2 panggilan di terima. saya terus pegi ke TM Point MENARA TM balik. katanya streamyx saya dalam status tunggu sebab port full saya akan call awk balik dlm masa 2 3 hari. katanya la.. tp mcm td juga la. lepas seminggu tak ada apa2 call jugak.. lepas tu hari2 saya kena call, saya email. kata dorg status saya dlm keadaan tunggu.kami tak boleh nak pasang port kat tempat encik lg.bila dah cukup customer baru boleh pasang. kalau pasang untuk encik sorang rugi la kami.. oo mcm tu rupanya. ok sy tunggu la. 3 bulan sy tunggu x ada apa2 berita juga.saya siap call direct hp manager tm point Menara Tm. tp mcm tu jugak la jwpn dia. akhirnya sy da x bole tahan. sy nak terminate la servis tm ni. tp masa tu sy ada di shah alam. saya pegi TM point shah alam tp dorang suruh sy g menara TM jugak. menyusahkan betul. akhirnya sy terminate jugak la. tp masa masa kat tm point menara tu bkn snng2 jugak la nak terminate streamyx tu.sy rugi RM50 untuk duit kontraktor + duti setem. nampak sgt tm tak pandang individu mcm sy. dorang lebih pentingkan badan2 korporat je. dorg kan dah gah! siap sponsor MU. hehe

  27. lepas terminate. saya terus amik servis lain. tak sampai sejam saya dah boleh guna internet di rumah sy..skg dah lebih 6 bulan sy bole gunakan internet di rumah dgn cara puas hati. tp ketidak puasan hati dgn tm masih belum hilang. mcm diyana jugak la talak 4 utk TM.
    sy bukan kawan/pembaca setia blog diyana. ini baru 1st entry sy baca.

    Kalau nak komen to boleh, tak kisah pun, Tapi gunalah bahasa yg SOPAN. Janganlah guna nama ‘TMPOINT’, tmpoint bukannya satu je kat MALAYSIA. Ada beribu pekerja kat sana, termasuk yang tua dari KAU. Dasar Budak hingus yang tak guna di kurniakan OTAK, tak hormat org tua. Entah siapalah lelaki malang yg nak kan kau. Kasihan dia….. Harap-harap kau janganlah jadi menantu aku. Reject terus…….!

  31. orang2 tm ni menggelabah tak hingat. kalau dah mmg servis lembab tu mengaku je la. apa yg payah sgt.

    i pun selalu kena dgn tm ni. streamyx prob, call kata dah buat complaint dah bukak job service, tp after one week senyap sunyi. call balik kata pulak oo nak bukak job la ni. WTF! kalau dah ada job service takkan tak amik apa2 action dah confirm pending lg service tu. after 2-3 weeks baru streamyx ok.

    pastu 2nd problem, nak mintak rebate sbb no way i nak bayar 3 weeks takde line. dia boleh kata after 3 f****** months baru keluar rebate dlm bil. apa ke lama sgt. but u think 3 months is long enoigh for them to do their work.

    apparently not. now dah masuk bulan ke 5 haram satu sen rebate pun takde. 3 weeks is equivalent to more than RM50 ok. i tunggu masa je nak talak 4. sbb sekarang dah jumpa buah hati baru DIGI BROADBAND yang sgt2 laju ala streamyx tp tak menyakitkan hati.

    time to change.

Diyana, sy dah lama x komen kat blog u tp mmg bila baca this entry dan comment2 yg kelakar lawak guling2 ni, aku pun nak lah komen jugak… hahahah… Sepatutnya dengan entry ini boleh dijadikan teladan untuk improvement di masa depan. Mereka2 yg x pernah kena tu mmg lah macam tak percaya jer kan story you ni. Sy dah lebih 10 tahun melanggan streamyx dan dah macam2 peristiwa berlaku…. yg terbaru ni kena tunggu 3 bulan utk install unicool package. Me and my office mates applied almost at the same time tp sy punya selps 3 bulan baru dia psg, itupun selepas 4 kali pergi follow-up dgn tm point. My friends yg lain2 tu at least 2 times kena gi follow-up, dia org punya dpt dlm masa sebulan lebih. Kenapa dia org (staff TM) masih tak mengaku kelemahan ini?

  33. ramai first time reader masuk diyanazman.com sebab post nih, sebab tuh tatau you dah lama hilang dara semoga tuhan membalas.. dan sumer jenis masuk ‘blok’ (bodo piang mana tak reti spell blog nih) nak hentam you je, probably setelah puas mengumpat you IRL (fitnah, dosa). Memang sah sangat diorang staff TM, datang mencarut2 kat you, instead of denying /rectifying this issue…

    Kepada staff TM Kepong, len kali jaga2 dgn orang yang ada blog..
