Weekend for the family

I cannot believe that the weekend is over. On Saturday we had dinner at IKEA’s café. They are having this special menu of crispy whole roasted chicken with fries and free mineral water for RM13.90.

Azman and I finished off the whole chicken by ourselves while Miki ate nutricious whole particles of dust from the air. And an ice-cream.

Prior to that Miki’s babysitter Mama Rose had a kenduri for her 5 children’s Khatam Al-Quran ceremony. It was very nice! I wish I had brought my camera but I didn’t. Mama Rose is very lucky to have such good children. Another thing that I like about the kenduri was the food lah!

We had laksa, mee kari, bihun goring, roti jala with rich kuah durian, delicious kuih muih, fruits etc. Towards the end of the kenduri, suddenly it started to rain pulakk! As our house is right in front of Mama Rose’s; dengan penuh kekejiannya I grab all the food Miki and ran back home. And continue to savour my mee kari in the comfort of our living room.

Have you guys ever done that before? Like grab kenduri food back home and makan sesuka-suki hati? Tak penah kan? Keji giler. Tapi mee kari tu sedap weeyyy!

Anyway that night I returned back the cutleries la. Washed with Axion hingga menciutkan!

Yesterday was also another Sunday with a twist. We had lunch at Pizza Hut at around 2pm. I think the last time we had any meals there was 2 years ago. All these while it was Domino’s or Papa John’s or anything else but Pizza Hut for the fact they are alla bunch of taik idung masin.

No I didn’t find boogers on my pizza, in fact I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING!! I was like, what the hell is this? I slab of bread with a spread of sauce and INVISIBLE TOPPING? You know how I eat pizza – just the toppings so what’s the point?

Anyway this time around I guess Pizza Hut has turned over a new leaf and the Hawaiian Chicken that we had yesterday was really delicious and rich with chunky toppings and cheese!

We ordered the Chicken Bolognese Kid’s Meal set for Miki and he ate like there was no tomorrow.

Then while we continue to do some shopping all the cheesy wheesy we consumed started to kick in. We became so sleepy it felt like Bro Bani was sitting on my lids. You know, 2.5 tonnes of weight.

So after Maghrib all three of us went on snooze mode. Like Maghrib-maghrib tido? Elok sangat lah tu… Mana tak pshyco kepala hotak kan? And we woke up at 10pm fresh like Raju’s Cameron Highlands strawberries.

After dinner it was just 11. Miki was jumping about high with energy he had gotten from all the sayur sawi and carrots he just had. Definitely he wouldn’t be able to settle for bed as he has just gotten up so we figured lets go jalan-jalan. Clubbing maybe? We went to Downtown Bandar Tun Razak and bought this.

Spongebob Kids Sandals

A pair of counterfeit Spongebob Squarepants Crocs sandals for Miki for RM12, that’s USD3.48. Several years ago when Crocs was starting to get popular Azman had warned me NEVER put that disgusting pieces of rubber on the feet of his child! I think he meant ORIGINAL pieces of disgusting rubber. TAK ORI TAK APA! Hhehehe!
