When all the radio stations that I listened to while driving to work this morning kept playing his songs, I knew that something was wrong. Michael Jackson, The King of Pop has passed away today June 26 2009 at 51 years old. He had a cardiac arrest.
I was not a diehard fan of Michael Jackson but his death today has left me feeling gloomy. The world has lost one of the greatest artists of all time and I do not know if there will ever be someone that can replace this gift to the music industry.
On 21 November 2008, Michael had converted to Islam and changed his name to Mikaeel. I hope that had given him the light in his beleaguered life and I am glad he passed as a Muslim. Al –Fatihah.
Michael ‘Mikaeel’ Jackson, 1958-2009
Update – I would like to encourage all of my readers who smoke to attend an event held by Tropicana Medical Centre (TMC), Kota Damansara this Sunday, 28 June from 12:00pm – 4:30pm. Admission to the ‘No Tobacco Day’ is free and it is the opportunity for you get some help in separating with the cancer stick. At the event, you can learn about the proper techniques and methods to quit smoking once and for all with TMC’s experienced consultants. Regardless of what religion MJ was, it did not make him any less of the immensely gifted person he truly was. May him rest in peace.
Essentric, no lah!!!! hehehe.. this diyanazman doing a community service.. 🙂
i’m not an MJ fan too but his death left me feeling sad cos his Beat It and Billie Jean videos were the first videos I saw on our local tv station. They left me spellbound.
thanks for the info on No Tobacco day. My hubs is a smoker and tried to quit many times. The longest he stayed away from ciggies were 5 months and then he went back to smoking again. So now, I tak peduli kan dia 🙁
actually masa menulis paper work kerja pun ko hampeh jugak. bukankah aku jugak yg kena betulkan sambil muntah darah?
mana ada hampeh…yg hampeh adalah ‘org tu’ yang menulis….
All of here know Michael has passed away. But here’s something to think about.
.Does everybody know how much pressure was on him at times?
.Does everybody know that no person can replace such an open-hearted soul?
.Does everybody know that Michael has hidden from paparazzi, and now he can’t hide? (probably so)
.Does anybody think that we may have lost the best musician and may never gain another like him?
Think about these and feel the sad loss of the best musician who has and will ever live.
