Today is Valentine’s day and I am down with flu. I didn’t even go to work. All day I lay around at home and blow sneezes every 30 seconds. My nose had been very productive. So far I believe about a litter of mucus had been generated from each nostril. If only my butt cells can be as industrious, nobody would have mistaken my butt with my shoulder blades anymore.
I cannot remember what happened in the morning except I ran out of tissues for my hingus and I had to use Azman’s work shirt. The cloth is smooth and nice.
Noon was spent sending many sms to remind Suzy and Rena about how wonderful life is if we can stay home all day and watch tv when our friends are at the office working. They didnt know about the sneezing.
For dinner I craved Sup Ekor Kurang Pedas (Mild Oxtail Soup) from Restaurant Jamal in section 14. Along the way to PJ I chanted Sup Ekor Kurang Pedas! Sup Ekor Kurang Pedas until Azman stuffed my mouth with the hankie I use to wipe my nose. That didn’t spoil my appetite.
The Mamak delivered our soups without fork and spoon. So I had to repeat Sudu! Sudu! Sudu! many-many times to attract the Mamak’s attention. Azman was so annoyed he let me eat his soup. I was very happy. I ate two Sup Ekor Kurang Pedas with two sudus.
Then we went home and watch more American Idol. That’s how we spent the lovers day this year. Yea!
